We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news!

Last night, the Board of Supervisors overturned the planning staff’s recommendations and the previously approved parcel map, upholding our appeal. This victory wouldn’t have been possible without the overwhelming support from all of you, both in-person and virtually. Your voices truly made a difference.

There was a collective sense of relief as the Board called out the developers for using sneaky tactics to try and qualify for expedited review. It was clear they were not going to let these shortcuts fly. In fact, the vote was unanimous. It was quite shocking when the developers even blamed the planning department, claiming it was their suggestion to use a parcel map to push the project forward.

One of the most powerful moments was hearing someone say this outcome restored their faith in democracy and humanity. It was a proud moment of strong leadership and community action.

We won this battle because of all of you.

This shows we can shape the future of our county and ensure that development happens responsibly, sustainably, and thoughtfully. Let's take a moment to celebrate this significant win.
